If the ad is still available, we are still accepting applications. Meet Leia. This pretty, 90 pound baby is almost 2 years old and is a St. Bernard / American Bulldog mix. She came to us when she began to get in trouble for taking out a few guineas on the farm where she was living. Farm living wasn't the life for Leia. She is now looking for a home that can make her part of the family. She is very cuddly, sweet, and quiet. She has lived with other dogs in the past. She would likely do well with gentle children. We are unsure how Leia would do with cats. Leia has been in a foster home and has learned to be completely housetrained and cratetrained. She loves toys and belly rubs. She can be a bit nervous around new people, but warms up quickly. Leia is very much a velcro dog and wants nothing more than to follow you around room to room, cuddle and lean on you every chance she gets. She walks well on leash and is a very loving, sweet gentle girl Leia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
