About Macy

Macy is lots of fun. She is a great retriever of toys and loves to play. Hide and seek is easy as she is deaf, it gives the hider extra time to dash away unheard. She knows sign language. Macy came to us from the APL when she was 1 years old in December 2012. We were not advised she was deaf, but figured it out over the first few weeks. She is very protective of us and can be aggressive with strangers. She has bitten several people in the hand related to food issues, or being protective of her family. She was friends with the neighbors dog when she was younger. That dog would climb under the fence to play. We have 2 cats. All three animals sleep in my bed at night. They tolerate each other, but don't play together. Well, Macy will drop a toy in front of Big Cat, but Big Cat has yet to throw it to the dog. We need a good home for Macy. Do to life situations we can no longer care for her.
