Your Day is Guaranteed to be Bright with Sunni by Your Side Every day is a new adventure for this sweet, soft, gorgeous 'honorary' GSD. Saving Paws rescued Sunni , who we think is a Goldendoodle or poodle mix, and her friend Brock, a German Shepherd, from the MCACC shelter where they were picked up as strays. MCACC managed to locate the owner, but he didn't want them back, can you imagine? These cuties came as a package deal, but after spending some time with a foster family, they discovered that the dogs were friends, but didn't need to be together. Sunni's name is perfect for her because she is a bright ray of sunshine. Her foster mom, who has fostered many dogs for us over the years, says she's one of the easiest and most pleasant fosters she's ever had and she raves about how soft her blonde coat is too. She gets along with other dogs, loves people and doesn't even mind the family's tortoise roaming the yard. If you're looking for a friendly, easy-going companion and don't mind having a furry friend by your side 24/7, Sunni is your gal. She really wants to be with her people and she follows her foster around everywhere. Plus, she would love to sleep in your bed and cuddle with you, if you're up for it! Sunni walks great on a leash, is housebroken and is a pretty quiet girl. She likes to go for walks and loves to go for rides in the car. Sunni would be a great dog for a family that likes to take her with them to soccer practice, on errands and to meet folks in the neighborhood. She loves people! If you'd like to make Sunni's day a little brighter, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
