Morty is a very sweet, loving dog, who is a doxie mix approx. 20 pounds He is approximately 2 years of age. He gets along with all the other dogs; leaves my cats alone; sleeps in my bed; and I have to work at keeping him out of lap! He is a great dog, who has a very chill and mellow personality. saved from an 87% kill shelter. He's really a sweetheart, Whoever adopts Morty will really have a wonderful dog. We can't really imagine him being any more fabulous. The one hang-up he has is getting his picture taken. The minute I pick up the camera he tucks his tale; his ears go back; and he acts shy and timid. I've had to carry the camera around while doing my house work in order to catch him off guard and get a pix. He's had so many moments when he was staring right at me with his ears up and if I only had the camera. He has gorgeous large stand-up ears that look similar to a Great Danes after they had been clipped! I trying to catch a pix of that...no guarantees. He does have one spot on his left side missing hair. This is a scar. He probably got a good cut that healed well but probably won't grow the hair back. He was saved from Laredo TX Shelter. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and heart worm negative. https://form.jotform.us/PNWdogs/ellen-petcentral-satx-apagree That is the rescues fb page.
