About Lilly

Hi everyone. My name is Lilly Bug and I'm a (28# 'hefty') 3.5 year old mini-Aussie. My foster mom found me on Craigslist. I was being 'rehomed' because my previous moms wanted to travel. They said I had some issues with men and with barking, but I really love my foster Dad and my foster brother. I will bark at strangers though-until Someone shows me they are trustworthy (can you say 'treats'?) I love to run and explore on the property, but always come as soon as I hear my name. I get along with all of my furry foster brothers and sisters (except the annoying little DM Aussie in the House-she's too rambunctious and doesn't mind my space too well). I had a BF that was a cat, but the cats in my foster home don't seem to want to play with me. I take morning and evening walks to the chicken coop and don't seem to mind when the 'girls ' go scurrying away. I just help collect the eggs. I can walk on a leash really well, but I'm so well behaved that I'm usually off-leash. I am crate trained as well. When I'm really relaxed, I love to chase and retrieve a tennis ball. Sometimes I can even beat the retriever to the ball! I'm not a big fan of getting on the people furniture, but love dog beds. As for kids, so long as they don't move too quickly and respect my space, I can adapt. But I really prefer older more veteran humans. My foster mom thinks I'm ready for my new home, so, here I am!
