Thanks for your cooperation!*** Lohdi is a sweet fellow looking for a forever home. Lohdi is a 9 year old boy who weighs 29 pounds. If we had to guess, we'd say he is a Cocker spaniel, poodle mix. Lohdi is a confident friendly guy who gets along great with other dogs. He does fine with easygoing cats once he is reminded to give them space. We haven't had Lohdi around children, but we suspect he would do great with them because of his gentle nature. We found a listing for two sweet pups and reached out to the owners. Unfortunately the husband had passed away and their owner could no longer care for Lohdi his friend. We agreed take them into our rescue and find them loving homes. We had these two lovebugs picked up and brought to our vets. We soon discovered that both dogs needed medical attention and they desperately needed to be groomed. Lohdi had to have a mass removed. It was biopsied and the results came back benign. Lohdi is very happy-go-lucky and has a heart of gold. He loves to snuggle and really wants to please his humans. He's very content napping on the couch with his humans or finding a warm sunny spot to lay in. Lohdi is most interested in being near his person and is a wonderful loving companion. Lohdi must go to a home with another dog present. He needs to be let outside every 3-4 hours to do his business. He will need house training and obedience training in a new environment like most rescue dogs. This affectionate boy is ready for his happily ever after. Lohdi has an adoption fee of $500. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved in a safe environment with a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
