About Blue

This smart boy is a 7 year old Blue Tick Coonhound. He has been through several obedience classes and know quite a few commands including 'sit, lay down, stay, take it, leave it and find it'. He is child friendly and loves cats. He also likes other dogs. Blue has never been taught to hunt but does like to 'track' squirrels in the yard. He would love to have a fenced yard to be able to run and sniff around. Blue hates to be crated, but has done well being left alone in the house unattended as long as he can't access the trash and food isn't left on the counters, then he is fine. He mostly naps with the cat and waits for owners to get home. He has never been destructive otherwise. Blue is on some low-cost anti-anxiety meds as well to help with his separation anxiety issues that are commonly seen in hound breeds. This also helps him if it's taken before thunderstorms.
