About Joey

Joey is a 1 1/2 year old Black Mouth Cur that was rescued by Houston Pets Alive after Hurricane Harvey. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and HW negative. He has the most amazing soulful eyes....SWOON! Swagger....nails it! Devotion....incomparable. He was tagged by a Colorado rescue and sent to his fur-ever home b/c he was too high energy. He has stolen my heart and I am committed to finding the perfect home for him. He needs someone who is active...someone who runs/hikes/bikes, etc. He's incredibly intelligent! He would do amazing in agility or as a service dog. Two local behaviorists that have come into the shelter have said that he is very quick and eager to learn.
