About Bella

Bella is fostered Lancaster TX through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. Bella is a 5 year old 14lb. Yorkie girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in February 2018. Bella came to us as an emergency case. She had developed a serious condition called pyometra. She had developed an infection and required urgent surgery to remove her uterus. Her owner was unable to afford the care and surrendered her to UYR. Bella went immediately to our vet and had her surgery the afternoon she was surrendered. She came through the surgery but wasn't eating so she had to remain under vet care until she was stable and eating. Bella has made a great recover and is now looking for her forever home. She is eating regularly and has some pep back in her step. Bella is a very healthy and sweet little girl who would be fine as an only girl for someone who is home most of the time and can shower her with attention. However, she is used to having siblings, little dogs, big dogs and even cats, so she would be just as happy to be part of a pack. It's important to Bella to have her people or her pack with her. She doesn't much care to be alone. Bella loves her toys and seems to always have one nearby. She is playful and loving, a very happy pup.
