About Lucy

Little Lucy came to us with her Momma Lady from a local shelter that was having some issues with their foster homes and had to get help with a few dogs.. Both of these girls appear to be dachshund and Chihuahua mix girls and Lucy is about 2 years old and Lady is about 3 years. They are both very shy and aren't sure about people. They likely came from a home that spent very little time with them. They are going to be spayed on the 22nd of March, but due to their shyness, we are willing to place them in a foster to adopt basis until we can get their spay surgeries done for them. At the future time of the surgery, then the foster to adopt will become an adoption. We do have to ask for a spay hold for them of $125 which is fully refundable after their surgery is completed. By state law, we do have to get this as a deposit to make sure all goes well and the dog does get altered in a few weeks. Their fee is $150 and includes her surgery or a voucher for it to be done, as well as a microchip and all vaccines to date.
