About Ekho

Belgian Malinois mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Darling Ekho Is in Search of His Forever Home 4 month-old, male, Belgian Malinois Good with other dogs: Yes Good with children: Unknown Good with cats: Unknown Puppy Ekho is a sweet Mali boy who came into MCACC not feeling well. They soon found out he had parvo. He's been recovering with one of our experienced foster families and is doing great. He's gone through medication and treatment is feeling very spunky these days. And he's getting to be a big boy at 41 pounds and counting. As a Belgian Malinois, Ekho will need an active family that will be committed to structure and training. Belgian Malinois are very active intelligent dogs who need mental and physical activity to be happy and healthy. Sometimes known as 'maligators' they tend to use their little teeth to explore the world. Ekho is no exception, he likes to nip at ankles when he gets excited. But his foster mom is working with him so he learns good doggie manners. And with positive training and exercise, Malinois can be fantastic family pets. Just look at that face! Ekho is already housebroken and is not toy or food aggressive at all. He really likes to snuggle with his people, which is so cute. He knows sit and shake and he's learning down and stay too. If you're an active person or family looking for a companion that likes to hike, run, walk or participate in dog sports, Ekho might be the guy for you. And did we mention he likes to snuggle? If you'd like to meet Ekho, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application.
