About Ripley

We have another gorgeous boy This is RIPLEY a beautiful Weimaraner Chocolate lab mix Ripley is 3 yrs old and 85lbs of pure love so he is a big boy. Ripley has beautiful features a soft shiny coat and pure white teeth and oh those stunning amber eyes that will melt any heart, Interested read on and see what we are looking for in Ripley's new home. Ripley's Story ))) Ripley's story is not as sad as many that we encounter apart from the fact he needs to be re homed. Ripley's family just don't have time for him they are working all day and Ripley is too much of a pup even at 3 yrs old Ripley is bored and he gets into things digs up the lawn but he is the perfect boy when they are at home Ripley is loved very much and has been well taken care of but his family realize he needs more human interaction, So here we are with Ripley searching for his new forever home. Ripley has so much Weimaraner in him he could almost be a purebred, Ripley loves his people he is excitable playful happy and friendly, He does have a brother but he is old and dosent want to play, Ripley is just bored and when he is bored he will get into things his toys have been taken away due to him having to have surgery to remove a blockage. Ripley loves to be out and about and to cuddle with you on the sofa so if you don't like a dog on your furniture Ripley is not for you, Like most weimaraners above all he needs that human interaction, He loves car rides going for walks however Ripley is a big boy so would need a strong handler He knows commands sit stay and down but that Weimaraner stubbornness is whether he chooses to listen. He loves to wrestle and play with his humans and like a lot of Weimaraners is completely oblivious to his size and can think he is a lap dog, He is receptive to his name and will come when called he is housebroken and is used to using a pet door during the day when his family are away, If they are at home he will stare to be let out. He dosent appear to be fearful of anything he is happy go lucky. So what are we looking for i his new home ))) We are looking for a family that has Weimaraner or Lab experience Weimaraners are unique and they are not for everyone, We need someone that is home most of the day and has time to invest in him as big as Ripley is he is still a pup a big pup in the right environment Ripley will excel, We are looking for a family that has a lot of love to share with him and keep a watchful eye, Ripley has not been crated he will break out and be stressed so a family that dosent crate. A fenced in yard is a must for this active boy I am sure he would love a nice female to play with a dog around his own size no small dogs Ripley can be boisterous and no small children he is a big energetic boy, It is wise to note that Ripley is a big boy but he still has a lot of puppy in him so he probably needs a strong leader he will jump on people when excited with the right interaction this can be corrected easily.Ripley is smart and intelligent and will quickly pick up a new routine, Ripley is at his happiest around his humans so we are looking for his forever home that is stable and can give him that security love and attention that he needs a forever home that means forever we don't want this boy to go through another transition, Ripley is neutered current on all vaccinations heart worm negative micro chipped and up to date on monthly prevention's, To adopt Ripley it is a long term commitment a commitment that will bring you great joy Could you be the special family to open up your heart and home, and make Ripley's life complete if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
