They are silver, black, brown fluffy short hair kitties approx. 6mo. They are obviously in love with each other and must be adopted together. Their adoption fee is $75ea. They have been vet checked, spayed and neutered. They are great with nice cats and nice dogs. Found abandoned as tiny kittens in a house on the outskirts of Phoenix. Suffering with upper respiratory and malnutrition, their eyes were swollen and sealed shut. Sadley, Holly had to have one of her eyes removed but after antibiotics and lots of love and care they are happy, healthy and amazing kitties. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Buddy and Holly are quiet, clean, low maintenance kitties. Holly is a very sweet kitten but probably due to the trauma she had endured, the loss of her eye and that she is a female :) she is slow to trust and apprehensive. She doesn't just walk up to you but she is very curious but has come a long way. Once she is held she does like the attention but will run as soon as she is put down. She is still so young and we believe with the right environment and parents she will progress even more. She is very food driven and opens up when canned food is offered so her new people need to take advantage of that. She will take time to adjust to a new home but her brother will help give her confidence. As she gets more comfortable she will show interest by rubbing on your legs while feeding her but she is still leery and will back up if you move fast. Rescue/foster parents have several dogs and I believe they inhibit her from becoming more friendly quicker. She is not afraid of them but they always have their noses in her business. Buddy is a buddy, he is sweet and loves attention as well but is not so uneasy about coming up to his people. Fast movements spook him too but I again think a lot of this is due to all the dogs. He will come to you and let you know when he wants kitty lovin time. He is a very curious and outgoing kitten that loves to explore and play, his favorite toy being little mice. He loves attention on his terms and will try and get it from his people or even the dogs. Neither are lap cats at this time but are wonderful companions that will be out spending time with you. Holly isn't at the stage where she will sleep with you or sit with you. Her new parents with less animals need to work with her more on a one on one v/s a one on 15 :) Once you hold, pet and love her (prove yourself) then Holly is fine and even though she will get better with her people she probably will never warm up to visitors. Again food to her is a great bribing tool. Buddy and Holly just need an understanding person/family to give them a chance so that they can grow and continue to come out of their shell. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Buddy and Holly FOR LIFE!
