About Maverick

Our boy Maverick is in need of a loving home that can give him lots of love and attention. We are expecting another child this summer and it is hard to have him around our children. He has never been aggressive towards them but has an unpredictable temperament with people in general. Needs a home with no small children (preferably over 10 years old) and he also needs owners that can spoil him all day and night. He is more dog-like than cat-like. He plays fetch, greets you at the door, and always is looking for a lap to warm. We would like to keep the adoption in the state of Ohio as we will not allow him to travel by plane or travel far distances by car. Our boy does have some fuzz on his back that usually gets thicker in the winter. He is very loving once attached to you and will want and need constant attention. Interviews will be held for potential families and we will also ask for reference. Adoption fee required to prove financial stability to take care of our boy. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Is not de-clawed.
