Ziggy male Carin Terrier almost 6 years old 30 lbs. My name is Ziggy. I was extremely loved and a very well taken care of little man by my mum until she passed away in our home. She left behind myself and a new little friend. We were alone for 3 days with no food or water until our mum, myself and my new little friend were found and we got help. I am currently being fostered in an amazing foster home with other dogs for me to enjoy the company of, along with cats and hamsters. I am almost 6 years old, 30 lbs, and really need to lose weight. My foster family has been taking me walks and I thoroughly enjoy them. I am a Carin Terrier who is neutered, up to date on my shots, chipped, and just went for a recheck at the vets. They said my teeth look good, and they found I have a tiny little cyst on my lower eye lid. But, the vet said as long as it's not bothering me to leave it be unless it changes. People- I love and enjoy being with by your side or at your feet. I am fond of following you around and do enjoy lots of love. Did I mention I also know to sit for a treat? Well I do!! I mentioned my mum loved me so. Plus everyone who meets me says I am such a joy of a little guy, and so full of love, and happiness. I am a treasure. It's time for me to find my new forever home again. I can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home, someone who will take me on walks, and help me get my figure back. A home where people are willing to work with me on potty training like all my doggy friends. And please love me, as I have seen some sadness. We will only will be accepting applications for Ziggy with other dogs present in the home. It does not matter the size of the dog, as he loves all sizes of dogs and loves, loves to play with them. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Ziggy and going through our process of having your references be checked, a phone interview, and a home visit. This is followed with a meet and greet if it's a good fit, with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Ziggy has an adoption fee of $660. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
