About Peanut

Peanut is a beautiful 6yo, 10 pound beaver pom. He spent his life in a puppy mill and is finally free! Peanut needs a home that understands he will take time and patience to come out of his shell. He does not like new people which requires time, patience, and lots of yummy treats for him to accept anyone. Peanut requires a fenced yard as a leash if foreign to him. He does potty outside and uses pee pads by the door, responds to anything treat related, and likes his crate for an area of safety. Once Peanut settles in he is a velcro dog! He follows you everywhere, gives kisses, and loves his affection. Peanut can be protective of his family so new people coming into the home need to be properly introduced. This beautiful boy loves all animals, has discovered the joy of toys, and likes to play with his pommy friends. We envision Peanut being in a home with one or two adults and an established dog(s) to show him the ropes. Please note that he does have a history of being fear aggressive so we will only put him in a home that understands he needs time and patience to overcome his fears. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, fecal, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle!
