About Trooper

Ok folks, not gonna lie, Trooper is THE man! We know, we know, black dog syndrome, blah, blah, blah. Have no fear - we're not letting our incredible dude fall into the category of overlooked amazing dogs! You might remember when Trooper, a 1 year old, 55 lb Lab/Pit mix, was found freezing under a boat in TN. He's now warm and cozy with his Long Island foster family, and it seems like his list of awesomeness is endless....house trained, great in the car, a true gentleman on a leash, gives amazing doggie hugs too any available human, is wonderful with kids of all ages, and he LOVES to play with other dogs. Not a huge fan of cats who seem fun to catch, so we'd avoid felines in his new home. Also (and here's a new one) he's deathly afraid of wheels....such as those on toy cars or trucks. SO.... if you're a feline and wheel free home, but might have a few kids or another pup, and are looking for one incredible dog, the buck stops here!
