About Buddy

Buddy acts like a puppy, and his favorite toy is a stuffed doll that he romps & plays with He loves to be loved. He was chasing our cats until they stopped, & then, he just cuddled in a dog bed w/ them! He is so good in the house whether alone or w/ alot of other dogs!! Buddy is a 5+ year old beagle who is a retired hunting dog. He's about 30 pounds of love. He is blind in one eye which appears to be an injury he sustained when he was younger. Though it doesn't bother him at all. He is a quiet little guy who is crate trained, good on a leash, and loooves to be loved. He's looking for a lap to cuddle in. Could it be yours? He is VERY interested in my cats. He chases them but hasn't tried to hurt them. Buddy went into a foster to adopt situation where his family witnessed seizure activity in a few instances. He was returned to the rescue and there have been no documented seizures in the week he has been in the rescue. This could be a medical condition or something in the environment he was in that triggered them. We always mention all we know..and we do NOT know about this as we never have seen this .... his blood work & x-rays showed nothing of concern & he is happy go lucky !! He is heartworm positive, and we are treating that w/ the slow-kill method & all is supplied for his first year.
