Dusty is an easy on the eyes pocket pittie, about 2 years old as of 3/2018. He was surrendered to the shelter weighing only 18 lbs. He is a shy boy, learning how to be a big dog in a big world. Dusty has been enjoying country life and is now becoming city folk. He is mastering the basics of being a dog like walking on a leash, taking treats (boy, is he food motivated!) gently, waiting to eat, being part of a pack, getting tongue baths from his friends. He has a long emotional road of recovery but he is already shining like the gem he is. Previous bully experience required for this boy as well as working with a trainer to continue bringing him out of his shell. We realize this may limit his choices for his forever home but we know that whoever he chooses will reap the rewards of his trust and love... and get his now famous bops on the nose in place of kisses! He is dog friendly, both big and small. Cats unknown.
