About Daisy

Daisy is a little over 5 month old Blue Heeler (there is some red that shows in her coat). When we adopted her we thought she was just being a puppy when she wouldn't respond to us. We started with trying to train her to learn her name and potty outside (she'll potty on puppy pads and outside) but we were having a lot of trouble with her listening. She seemed like she was ignoring us. In the three week span while we were waiting for her three week booster/checkup we started to see if she cocked her ears/or head when we talked to her or squeaked a toy but no response. When her checkup came, the vet checked her out and confirmed our suspensions, she's deaf. But she's a handful in a good way. She's a very loving, playful puppy though. Has a lot of energy and loves playing with our 4 year old husky Nala and our 8 month old coondog Trigger. She instigates a lot of the playing with the other dogs and plays from when she eats at 6am to when everyone is in bed by 11pm. Our house is quite the playground with her around lol. Daisy is very good with other dogs and kids. We have two little girls and she loves playing with them. She's just a little ball of fur and happy energy!! She'd love to go to a new home with other animals, lots of room to roam, and people who can give her the care that she needs with being deaf.
