About Spud

Adoption Fee: $475
Havanese
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Spud is an approximately 4 year old Shih tzu, currently weighing 8 lbs and underweight. Spud must have had a rough life before as he was impounded as a stray at a local Kill shelter and was horribly matted and already missing one eye. However, Spud didn't lose his sweetness. He loves to snuggle, is good getting baths, rides wonderful in the car and gets along with cats and dogs and is a very calm and friendly little guy. Spud is great with other dogs and cats but he prefers his humans and wants to cuddle all the time. IMPORTANT: Spud is located in GA and we do NOT have a shelter in MA. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia. We do NOT have a shelter in MA but have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. Since it is an out of state adoption we require a personal history of current or previous dog ownership which can be verified by your current or previous veterinarian. We do not adopt out to first time dog owners. DO NOT FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ANYWHERE ONLINE! Only via e mail can you receive the proper forms to fill out directly from us. Any other applications are not accepted. Spud's adoption fee is $ 475 which includes, tranport cost, travel certificate, all his vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip. Our adoption fees are NOT negotiable!!!
