About Angus

This is Angus. When Angus came into the rescue he had a large, deep, open wound going half way around his neck. It was obvious someone at sometime in his life had tied a wire or string around his neck that cut into him. It took several months of treatment for it to heal properly. Angus also is FIV+. FIV stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV typically causes a weakening of the cat's immune system. It is the same class of virus as HIV (a lentivirus); however, only cats can get FIV. People and dogs cannot. To look at and play with him you would never know he has FIV. He is the biggest sweetheart and loves playing. Angus is vaccinated, neutered, on flea medicine and microchipped.
