About Ruger (Twin Falls ID)

Adoption Fee: $350.00
Boston Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Ruger is appropriately named, cuz' he's a pistol. He's Boston Terrier/heeler cross and to make him happy, all you need to do is either grab his leash or give him a bone. He will be the perfect jogging and hiking partner for someone he loves being outdoors with is people doing whatever they are doing. He loves to run, and jump, maybe becoming a Frisbee champ is in his future, he also likes to play tug with his rope. And if you give him a bone, he will be occupied for hours on end. He's a little shy when you first meet him, but will be your best friend in minutes. He's just a dog looking for a family to love him. And what's not to love, I mean, look at that happy face! He has all the good things going for him too, he's house trained and although he hasn't been around a lot of little kids, he has been fine with the one or two he has been around when they come to visit. So respectful kids over 8 would be best. He's approximately 18 months old, we would recommend that he have a few obedience classes so he can learn how to communicate with each other and to build his confidence. He's not aggressive, but will bark other dogs when he sees them, and when he gets nervous - he may pee just a little, both are easily resolved with patience and time for him to become comfortable with his surroundings. Ruger has been neutered, his up to date on his shots and ready for his new home. His a small/medium size dog weighing in at 31 pounds. For anyone interested, please email [email protected]. Requested donation is $350, Transportation to his new home can be arranged.
