Cleo is one of the sweetest hounds we have ever met! Luckily, we pulled her on the eleventh hour, before the shelter euthanized her. A discarded hunting dog, Cleo is learning to be a family dog, and she is making great strides! The letter 'B' is spray-painted on her leg, but it will fade with time, along with Cleo's memories of being penned up outside. She has loved the adults and kids she has met so far, and is mostly house trained. Cleo gets along with other dogs, but has probably never met a cat. She likes to chase rabbits, and can jump a 4 ft fence. Because of this, we are requiring Cleo's adoptive family to have a 6 foot fence. This baby will 'tunnel' under a fence, if left outside unattended too long. Cleo is current on vaccines, microchipped, and estimated to be almost four years old. She will be spayed soon, and we will pay to put her through heartworm treatment. This sweetheart can be adopted before her heartworm treatment is complete, as long as her new family makes her available for her scheduled appointments.
