About Dozer

Dozer is a sweet dog who loves to have his belly scratched and play ball. He is a big boy, weighing in at 146lbs, but he is an affectionate and good boy when he gets comfortable around you. He was rescued from an abusive home and he was not socialized and left all alone in a backyard. He has been in rehab with us for 6 weeks and is doing great! While he has grown comfortable with our family, he is still unpredictable with strangers. Sometimes after a few minutes he will be totally comfortable with a new person, but he tends to be afraid of people and may even growl, bark, or snap. He does tend to be more aggressive with men. But he listens to commands, and will sit and lay down even when agitated. He has never been around kids. He is potty trained and crate trained. He needs a loving and stable home, he is a loyal dog with an affectionate nature.
