OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hellllloooo World! The name is Jillaroo and I'm so excited to tell you a little bit about myself. Foster momma named me Jillaroo because she says it's the Aussie term for a cowgirl. Seeing as I'm an Aussie mix that thinks she's one rough and tough girl I think its fitting. I get to hang with my brother Digby all day and have the best time together. We were rescued along with our 8 other siblings and Momma from living under a house. We are so glad to be two spoiled little babies now with full bellies and lots and lots of toys to play with. We are both just your typical puppies, but I seem to be the more independent one. I do love to snuggle with you too. We are both really good about whining when we want to go outside to go potty, but will go on the newspaper in our puppy pen if we don't have a way to get outside. I'm sure we will have it down in no time! We sleep all through the night without a peep but will let you know when its time to eat. Come meet me this weekend, but you better get your apps in now because I know everyone will think I'm just the cutest and will come scoop me up quick. Jillaroo is a Female Australian Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 1/15/2018. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
