About Batman

Well hello there! My name is Batman, and I'm a sweet, eager-to-please, and adorable 12-pound mini-Schnauzer/ terrier mix who's black with splashes of white and who was born about March 2016. You'll love my gray 'Mohawk' on the tip-top of my head! I love to let said Mohawk 'fly in the wind' when I'm riding in the car. I'm super intelligent and easily trainable, if I do say so myself. What it boils down to is that I will do anything for treats. I've learned how to heel, sit, and stay in place, and there's a vast potential for me to learn lots more if someone wants to work with me. Hey, it's a bonding experience! My buddy Robbyn and I were found one morning in the front pen of a dog grooming salon where the proprietor has a reputation for being softhearted about stray dogs and being instrumental in helping many dogs over the years to find good homes. I can't imagine my owner's abandoning a fantastic little guy like me unless there were some good reason -- financial setbacks, divorce, moving out of the country perhaps? So maybe a Good Samaritan found us as strays and knew where to take us. I honestly can't tell you for sure. I love it here where there's plenty of groceries and brimming water bowls, other dogs to play with, and nice humans to love on me. But I realize that a home of my very own would be best. I haven't been tested yet around kids or cats because - for Pete's sake -- I'm at a dog grooming salon! But you'll never know unless you try me out! I'm anxious to give puppy kisses to anyone whose heart skips a beat at the sight of a scruffy terrier! Come by to meet me today! I promise you will fall in love with my little sweet self.
