Meet Otis Lee! DOB: 09/29/2017 - Male This little comedian is looking for a family with a good sense of humor that loves a good laugh!! This freckled pup weighed in at 31 lbs. as of March 1st, 2018. Currently, Otis happily lives with 2 cats and 3 other dogs. Otis would be best suited to a home with a playful dog companion (he's more of a follower than a leader) and humans that don't mind a cute shadow. In fact, Otis would love to accompany his humans whenever possible - he rides like a dream in the car (doesn't mind his seat belt) and loves to go out to eat and to weekly trivia with his foster family. He is not a lap dog, but loves to be beside you. He gets attached to his humans - even leaves his food to greet his foster mom hello! He is crate trained and settles down nicely when left alone (at night and during the day). He is an early riser - no rooster required! He is selectively vocal - he will whine to ask for things, but does not randomly bark at noises while indoors. Otis is extremely smart! He will thrive with structure and routine. He is doing well with training (already knows sit, lie down, wait to eat his food, drop it, walks well on a leash) and will do best with someone who will continue to encourage and guide him. He is able to reason out situations which may get him into mischief, so outside supervision is a must. However, his persistence really pays off in training - he picks up things quickly and easily (both by vocal and hand gestures).
