About Baby Lil

Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil are definitely little rugrats but won't be ankle biters. We are not 100% positive on their mix but we are fairly certain they have Wirehaired Dachshund in them, and possibly Poodle, along with some sort of terrier. Basically they are your purebred mutts that are fully of fun, love, and affection. These little ones are between three and four months old now and will probably be close to 20 pounds when full grown. They are smart and learn very quickly. These babies are great in a crate all through the night and in the car, and will be great in a home with kids, cats and other dogs. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
