Meet Bundi! This young 'Desi Dog' (local term for 'street dog') who arrived from India on March 7th. Bundi is learning very quickly that potty is outside. She does fantastic in the crate in the evening and when you go out. She pretty much doesn't mind anything as long as she can see you!! She loves meeting new dogs and people and just wants to please everyone. I would be a foster failure if it weren't for having two of my own already. Whoever adopts this girl will truly be blessed! Bundi is approximately 6 months old and weighs around 18 lbs. She's listed as an India Pariah dog and resembles a Shepherd mix. She was rescued in the mountains of India and dropped off at KAW, a local rescue group, when her caretakers had to leave the country. KAW staff continued her treatment for malnutrition and mange and helped her to become the delightful young pup you see here. Bundi is playful, very friendly and loves all people and dogs she's met. She's a smart, confident pup who has proven to be highly trainable. She loves to climb into a lap for affection and KAW staff call her the 'peacemaker' because she never bickers with another dog. Bundi is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives and will be spayed prior to adoption. Want to meet her? Apply now!
