About Shadow

Shadow was adopted by us in Northern Virginia. He is a hound at heart and loves to run trails off leash. For the first time in his life, we lived in an area without easy access to off leash trails and our lives have become too busy to get Shadow the outside time he deserves. It breaks our hearts to give him up, but we owe it to him to find a less restrictive environment. We have 3 children who have been with Shadow since they were as young as 5 years old. He is great with older kids, but is less patient with little ones. We would not recommend him if you have children younger than 10 years old. He is loving, loyal, and LOVES to play. While he has not been trained to hunt, hunting is in his nature and evident when off leash in the woods. If you frequent the outdoors, he's the perfect companion.
