About Dolly

Our newest AmsterDog bears the same name as the one, the only, national treasure, Dolly Parton. And it makes a lot of sense because they're both adorable, sassy and sweet as can be. We have yet to hear our 1 year old, 52 lb. Pit Mix Dolly sing, but we're fine leaving that to Miss Parton. What we can tell you is that Dolly has been known to make people smile spontaneously and instantly talk baby waby because she is so freaking cute! And just like the original, Dolly Parton, there's so much more to her than her showstopping looks. She's smart, funny, loving and even likes cats! Dolly needs a slow introduction with other dogs because she's the kind of gal that likes to get to know someone before she shares her Kong with them. Speaking of which, this is young lady likes toys and chewy treats, plus playing and running around. We are so excited we got to rescue this girl from what could've been inspiration for a very sad country song! But just like the singer she's named after, they both came from tough times and made it because they were meant for amazing things. While one became the queen of country, we think this one should be the queen of snuggles in the forever home she so deserves. So giddy up and get on down to meet our girl!
