About 'Mia'

Adoption Fee: Yes
Shih Tzu / Chihuahua
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Mia! She is a adorable 7 pound fully vaccinated, spayed female- Shih Tzu /Wire hair terrier Chihuaha mix. Mia is too cute for words and a nice balance of calm and sweet yet loves to play. Mia is 18-months old, has a clean bill of health, and very sweet, Mia is playful and loving and a bit timid at first. Once comfortable, she is your best friend. Mia was rescued from a very overcrowded shelter in CA. We do not know her history or background as we rescue 'as is' before their time is up. Mia is very sweet, and has calm energy. She will be a wonderful companion and will steal your heart. Mia's tax deductible adoption fee is $625. Fee includes microchip, 30 days free pet insurance, vaccines, alter, health certificate, rabies, and heartworm tested negative. Mia loves to play with other dogs a home with other dog (s), to frolick and play with would be ideal but not required as long as she can stay socialized with others. Mia is a rough and tumble girl and runs in the yard with her hair blowing in the wind. She is priceless to watch, as she is loving her new life with a full tummy, a warm bed and as much love as she wants. Mia is seeking a home that can continue this level of care and watch her blossom. Mia is a indoor dog, and not to be left outside unattended in a yard or off leash outside of her home. If a home owner a fully fenced yard is required. Mia is being fostered with dogs her size, and would love a home that has a dog that needs a friend, Mia eats a grain-free diet of both wet and dry food to keep her healthy and my coat beautiful. She has a wiry-soft long coat, and mildly sheds. She is pretty much a 'wash and wear' dog - very little grooming is required. Basic obedience training is recommend training classes to establish a bond and master recall. Mia is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Mia should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt.
