Miles is an adorable and sweet fellow in need of a new home as his owner wants the best for him, and feels she is unable to meet his needs. She writes, 'I am unable to give him the care or attention he needs. My landlord has sold my house and the apartment I am moving into will not allow big dogs. My parents, who are elderly are unable to care for him because of his special needs. I work two jobs and he is home alone for 10 hour.' She's asked family, her vet, groomer, and other rescues, but has not yet had any luck. He is housebroken and leash trained. Miles is a friendly and gentle fellow, and is good with people of all ages. He currently lives with two cats and another dog. He is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never shown any aggression. His owner gave us more details about his personality: 'He is a gentle boy...My son has a puppy, golden retriever, and Miles is very gently and playful with him.' Miles's owner feels he adapts well to new situations despite his visual impairment and tells us, 'Yes he goes to my parents house and the dog park and finds his way around quickly.' Miles's owner wants us to know what a sweet fellow he is and how hard this is for her. 'I know every dog owner is truly heartbroken, but I can not express how sweet this dog is and what an amazing companion he is.' And he's adorable, too! Please contact os@blinddogrescue.com.
