About Tallee

This spicy red gal is Tallee. She is a 35 pound, 2 year old Cattledog who wants a home that likes to play fetch. Tallee already has the basics. She is house and crate trained. She knows sit and wait. Tallee is nice with dogs large and small. She can want to hoard her toys, so her new home needs to know how to supervise dogs when they are together. However, she also loves to play with other dogs and would play all day if allowed to do so. She is also nice with kitties. In fact, she play bows to try to get them to play. The cats in her foster home ignore her! Tallee is great in the car. Tallee is nice on leash. Tallee is a very loyal girl. She is good with a family but can be protective on walks. She is learning that other folks are just fine, and is easy to teach. She just needs an adopter who knows how to manage the breed and sans to continue her training. Oh, wait! I forgot to mention one big thing. Tallee LOVES to fetch! She also loves toys of all kinds. If you are busy, she will play with toys on her own. Is the dog good on a leash? She walks ok on a leash but is responding when to a corrective collar. She does show some reactivity when she sees dogs and some people. She has SO much potential. We've barely tapped into the dog she could be. She's happy and smiley and is sad when she does something wrong. I think she could learn a lot of tricks, and may be great at agility. She's the perfect mix of energy and manageability. She's doing fine in the backyard while we're at work. She loves to chew on Nylabones if you're not playing with her. She'll curl up on the couch and take naps, but loves to go for walks. She's probably love to have her own kitten to play with! She thinks they're so fun and interesting. She DOESN'T bark at all. Very quiet. Totally housetrained. And hasn't chewed up anything she isn't supposed to. So, Tallee is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is ready to meet potential adopters in SoCal. A vet reference and home visit are required. Adoptions occur in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs.
