About Benji

This handsome boy is Benji! Rescued from death row at a high kill shelter this 2 year old, 50 lb., Lab/Husky/Shar pei mix will steal your heart. Benji loves everyone he meets and will greet you with a big smile and wagging tail. Great with kids! Likes other friendly dogs after polite introductions and is a cat lover! His foster family took him on frequent outings ranging from restaurant patios, walks in the park and dog friendly stores so he is very well behaved and socialized. Walks well on leash. He likes to hide his toys as much as he likes to play with them. After a good game of fetch or eveing walk Benji can be found curled up on the couch right next to his person(s). He is a friendly, well rounded dog who would make a great addition to almost any type of family. Benji is fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines and preventatives, HW tested, neutered and microchipped. if you are interested in making Benji part of your family please email [email protected] We are all volunteers with jobs and families in addition to our rescue dogs. We do our best to respond within 24 hours but please be patient. Applicants under 25 years of age will need to demonstrate an adult lifestyle. If you rent your home we require a letter from the landlord submitted with your application granting permission for a pet. A fenced yard is preferred.
