About Aurora

Aurora is a one-of-a-kind dog with a beautiful smile. She is athletic, agile and would be happy to play fetch and run in a big backyard. Aurora is 6 years old but still has the get-up-and-go of a 2-year-old. At Pasado's Safe Haven, Aurora showers her favorite caregivers with kisses, hugs and excited tail wags. She is learning to feel calm and relaxed in her environment and really enjoys having a job. Nose works, agility, tricks and probably algebra are all within her skill set. Aurora enjoys lounging in the sun with caregivers, exploring all the trails around the sanctuary and rolling around in the grass to show you how happy she is. She makes a huge impact on everyone who meets her - Aurora's vibrant energy is infectious! Just this past year, a person who used to run with Aurora at a previous shelter drove 5 hours to see her again. Aurora knew him in an instant and greeted him with kisses. She stuck by him for the whole visit, happy to see her friend. Aurora can't wait to have that connection once again with her next family. She will always be a high-spirited, energetic dog who needs a partner who is just as excited for training and activity as she is. Her ideal home would be one without small dogs and cats due to her energy. She has lived with a dog before in August 2013 and with proper training and introduction from an experienced owner this could be a possibility for her in the future.
