About Duncan

You won't find a sweeter lab than this 2 year old boy. Duncan came into our program as an unclaimed stray. He weighs about 70 pounds. Duncan knows some basic commands like sit and shake. He also keeps his kennel clean which leads us to believe that he is house trained. In fact, he did spend a couple of nights in a home and had no accidents. He loves being near you, leaning on you, and soaking up all the attention you are willing to give. He is very gentle and does not jump up. Duncan does well with dogs, but we are unsure how he would do with cats. We are guessing he may be just fine. He seems to have a very laid-back personality. Duncan does get nervous when alone and doesn't prefer to be crated. However, we feel he will adjust in time or may do well in a gated off area if trustworthy. He will do sad howls for a bit when alone which wouldn't be ideal for an apartment situation. We guess this guy would love to follow you around the house and share your couch and even bed in his forever home. Duncan would be fine around gentle children who know how to properly interact with dogs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
