About Koki

Koki is a border collie mix and is up to date on shots and heart worm negative. He is a very pretty boy. Koki needs time to warm up to new people and places. He tends to be fearful when new people come into the home and should be allowed to observe from a distance and approach when he is comfortable. He takes time to process changes in his environment and would do best with an adopter who understands this and can give him a few weeks to get used to his new home before trying to introduce new people or places. Koki also needs to have space when he's eating as he can get nippy when food is involved. He likes girl dogs but can sometimes be selective of the dogs that he wants to play with. Adopter should be close enough to be able to visit Koki in his foster's home, and should have a quiet home dedicated to introducing Koki slowly to new things. He does take a bit to warm up but once he does he's your buddy. He is house trained and likes to go outside and is also crate trained. Koki is very smart and knows and understands basic commands.
