About Darla

We received Darla when she was a year and a half old. Darla's previous owner did not warn us about her aggression. Darla only allows half of our family members near her. She has been that way since we got her. She is very selective about who she allows near her. She has also broken numerous fence pickets attempting to get ahold of the neighbors kids or their small dogs. Darla is so sweet to me and my husband and daughter, but she doesn't like anyone else. My husband and I have talked about what's best for Darla since we have never been able to calm her aggression and we are at a loss. Darla is a pure breed with papers. She has recently had a litter of puppies. She is very loving to her puppies and to our other male. We want Darla to go to a person who knows how to calm her. She is very sweet when she is comfortable with you. We are worried though that she is eventually going to get ahold of one of the neighbors dogs or kids. Darla is house trained. I hope she can find someone who has experience with helping her ease aggression. Please do not judge our family or send hate mail or texts. You have no idea how much our family has tried to help her.
