About Sweetie

Adoption Fee: $100
Lakeland Terrier / Fox Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Sweetie is coming off of a double blow of not being wanted. She was recently adopted from a shelter in the Lawrenceville area and in a very short of time it was decided she 'was not what they wanted'. So they took her back to the shelter from which she was adopted. The shelter did not want her either and refused to take her. So this fuzzy faced terrier with the bewildered eyes has come under our care and we begin the work of finding the right family for her. Sweetie is 3 years old, microchipped, fully vaccinated, spayed and tested free of heartworms. She weighs 34 pounds. As information is learned, it will be added to her story. Better photos will be forthcoming soon. Sweetie's adoption fee is $100. Arrival date March 7, 2018. Application can be submitted online at: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application/ or at shelter. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members. Adoption policies and application procedures are at the shelter website: http://smithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. All approved adopters must accompany their new family member on the journey home. We do not ship nor transport. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Shelter location: 4823 Helen Hwy. 75N, Sautee, GA 30571 Shelter phone: 706-865-4135 Shelter email: [email protected] Sautee is 3 miles south of the alpine town of Helen in the mountains of NE Georgia.
