About George

Our sweet boy George is the laziest and happiest dog around. Unfortunately, we are finding he is not too crazy about our 14 month old daughter. With another baby the way, we've come to the heartbreaking decision we need to re-home him. :( We adopted him from a bad situation 3 years ago. He had severe skin issues and was heart worm positive. He is now heart worm free for several years! We mention this because I think some vets want to retest every few years. George is also hypothyriod so he has to take a small pill with breakfast and dinner or else he is very lethargic and will gain weight. They are not expensive, probably $20/month. And we are happy to provide several months supply of his meds. He is obviously not good with children from what we're finding. He is also in a home that has a doggie door and spend 80% of his time outside so someone that can give him access to roam whenever he pleases is a must. If he had any say, he would probably choose a farm to go live on! :) Seriously inquires only! George is our baby and we will not adopt him out to just anyone. Mix - Boarder Collie/Great Pyrenees
