An unfortunate situation today for two beautiful long hair stray kittens RCHS had tested today. Ashes & Rags both tested positive for FIV (Feline Aids). Unfortunately, due to state regulations, we are not able to isolate them at our facility away from other cats so they will have to go to a willing home ASAP. With an approved application, both cats will be adopted together where they can live out a normal pampered life. Please contact the shelter at 910-738-8282. Time is of the essence. An application is available by clicking on the following link ) http\://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/images/Adoption_Application_2015.doc You can email it back to us at [email protected], or fax it to 910-738-8282 (call ahead). All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, dewormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. For more info on how to adopt, please email us at [email protected] or call the shelter at 910-738-8282.
