An unfortunate situation today for two beautiful long hair stray kittens RCHS had tested today. Ashes & Rags both tested positive for FIV (Feline Aids). Unfortunately, due to state regulations, we are not able to isolate them at our facility away from other cats so they will have to go to a willing home ASAP. With an approved application, both cats will be adopted together where they can live out a normal pampered life. Please contact the shelter at 910-738-8282. Time is of the essence. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, dewormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure.
