About Dolly

Dolly is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Dolly is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Dolly is a 3-year-old, 33 lb mixed breed who has a few pounds to lose. She was dumped by her previous owner who kept her outdoors at all times. Her medical records say she is a collie mix, and we see sheltie and perhaps Aussie as well in her. She knows basic commands like sit and come, and walks well on a leash. She is mostly crate trained and is housebroken. She loves to play with toys and roll in the grass. She also loves to have her beautiful coat brushed, which is great because she will need plenty of grooming! She does fine with other dogs as long as they do not get in her face, so no exuberant or pushy dogs for her. She would be fine as an only dog as well. She needs to be fed in a crate, which we strongly recommend for all our dogs. She should be fine with kids as well. Dolly is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
