Soft as velvet, long gangly legs, a curiosity about everyone and everything, a non stop wagging tail, and all the energy that comes with being a big puppy. He's adorable and fun, super friendly to everyone in our path, jumpy in his welcome as youngsters can be-before they're trained not to jump on people. His leash manners are pretty good for a lively pup, and he is house-trained, as going potty outside was a priority. Sampson loves treats and takes them gently, so will be easy to train:) In the park, he loved watching other dogs go by, no pulling, just watching, and in his first playgroup, as of this writing, he approaches politely and solicits soft play. When things got too rough for his comfort level, he hid behind the handler (awwwww). Sampson wasn't bothered by any of the street noises on First Avenue, and as we walked a woman with a wheelie suitcase walked next to us, and Sampson couldn't have cared less. A city dog through and through. Fun, friendly, curious, playful, affectionate, smart, treat motivated�'�|all the good things you want are in one gorgeous pup waiting for you in adoptions.' He loves people, loves to be out and about, calls attention to himself in his kennel and as a result gets lots of walks from volunteers who want to spend time with this handsome, happy pup. Lively and vocal, Sampson approaches life with exuberance, as most puppies do. He's a young pup looking for his active and fun human counterpart. I see Sampson going for long walks or hikes, getting in lots of playtime and lots of hugs. Mr. Mayor, as he's been dubbed, hasn't met a person he doesn't want to spend time with.
