About Tara

This beautiful 1 1/2 year old girl can't win for loosing. She came to us out of Hurricane Harvey where she lost her home. She came to us with the intent to find her a permanent home and we have, to date, failed in that quest. She was adopted in October 2017 and it lasted a whole two days until she got returned because she wanted to play with the neighbor dogs and barked at them to come and play and the person who adopted her believed she was 'aggressive'. Then she waited patiently for the right person to come in and meet her and she thought that occurred in January. A family came in and adopted a puppy and Ms. Tara. It was instant love with her new dad! Unfortunately the puppy was just too much for her and she was intimidated by the new puppy and active children. So now she is back here at PFP hoping to get a third chance at finding a FOREVER home. Tara is housebroken, loves people and is ne of the sweetest babies you would ever want to meet. She is giving us all kisses and more than willing to accept the belly rubs we give her but she still is very much on the outlook for that special home she an call permanent.
