About Lou Lou

I am posting this for my cousin who is disabled and has gone to a nursing home. She is staying, temporarily with a friend of the family. Lou Lou is an energetic, lovable girl that will roll over for belly rubs. She is very treat motivated and learns her commands very quickly. She is potty trained but would benefit from crate training to learn better manners in the house. She has had the luxury of a fairly big yard and room to run around. She loves to go for a walk but needs a firm hand and a good leash and collar as she gets excited when seeing and hearing other dogs. I have had her around my daughter's cat and I wouldn't recommend she be around them. She could do well around kids but at this time gets so excited to have visitors that she has not learned not to jump. Lou Lou is a love bug! Once she knows you are her human she is full of affection. My cousin adopted her from the humane society to replace a senior lab that had passed away. Lou Lou was a little over a year old. He thought she was a lab then later realized he had a dog that needed more exercise. Lou Lou would benefit from someone that could run with her, play ball and give her the training and attention she deserves. She hasn't had the best chance at a good life yet. I don't want her to go back to the shelter. I have dogs and cats already or I would take her. When I met her and knew her home would be short term, I promised her in my heart that she wouldn't have to go back to the shelter. She is a good puppy!
