About Jackson

EMERGENCY: We desperately need to find her a forever home. If we can not find her one, we will have to euthanize her. She is housebroken. She is about four years old, my mother-in-law had Jackson ditched near her house as a puppy but wasn't able to care for her, and we took her in. We are guessing on her breed based off of her features. She can be trained to accept cats in the house, but she has gone after our cats when they were outside. She has a habit of killing small animals. She's killed a skunk, kittens, cats about 1-year-old, moles, and birds. She does work well with other dogs her size or bigger. She has nipped at our son, knocked a boy off of his scooter, and ran at another boy, but we don't know if these were playful or aggressive acts. She breaks out of chain link fences by jumping over or digging under them. She is able to break out of cages and has torn through a wooden door (not solid). We can't afford to fix our fence properly to keep her in, spend a proper amount of time with her, or give her the exercise she needs. We do not play tug of war with her because she tends to get a little too aggressive with it. She would be a great pet for someone who spends a lot of time at home, can take her for walks, and could use a good protector. She might do pretty well where she has lots of space to roam or is with a few other dogs her size. She really is a sweet and loving dog and it would be a shame to have to euthanize. She does not bark a lot, however, she does like to 'talk' to you, which she is doing in the third picture. She is protective of her family.
