About Daisy

Daisy is a beautiful 1 year old poodle mix who had a rough start at life, but is looking forward to her bright future! When Daisy came to us she was very badly matted and in terrible need of grooming. Once we got her groomed, you could count every rib down the side of her skinny little body. Lucky for Daisy she was taking in by a wonderful, loving foster mom who has helped her to start gaining some weight. Now weighing 7.5 pounds, Daisy could definitely use a few more pounds, but with a few good quality meals a day she will be where she needs to be very shortly! Daisy tends to be afraid of other dogs, she has been in foster with another calm dog and she is letting him get closer, but she's really scared. She would love to be the only dog in the home. If going home with another dog, she will need another gentle soul who will give her space as she adjusts. Daisy needs a home with someone who will be home with her a lot, or someone who takes her with when they go. She loves her human's attention and she always wants to be on your lap. Daisy loves her toys and will play often if encouraged. Daisy is working on learning potty training, but will need continued training and patience in her forever home. Daisy has been around children as young as 1 and did well with them, but will need very gentle children who understand that Daisy is shy and nervous. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $350.
