About Biggs

Adoption Fee: $275
Chihuahua / Chinese Crested
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Biggs is an adorable, affectionate, sweet and shy 7.5 year old, 10-pound male Chihuahua mix. This scruffy fellow originally came to Pal's Place rescue in 2011 when he was a 3 month old puppy with his 3 littermates when homes could not be found for them. He was quickly adopted but we received a call this month that he had been turned into animal control with another Chihuahua by his adopter when she could no longer care for him. Thankfully they scanned his microchip and realized he came from our rescue so they gave us a call and we picked him up right away! Biggie can be a little timid when meeting new people but he warms up quickly. He is a super affectionate and cuddly guy that loves being close to his people and snuggling up under blankets in bed. He's quiet and well behaved in the home, but like many tiny dogs, he does need to be watched with his housebreaking and needs frequent potty breaks. He is crate trained. Biggs is being fostered with a Doberman and enjoys the company of his foster brother. A DNA test was performed on one of the littermates a few years back and it can back showing a mix of Chihuahua and Chinese Crested! We are not sure how accurate it is, but whatever mix he is, he is one precious and unique pup! Please come and meet this little fellow today, you will not regret it! Biggie is currently being fostered on Chicago's north side and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received. Since coming back to our rescue, he's been brought up to date with vaccines and heartworm testing and had a dental cleaning. He's ready to go home today and is anxious to meet you! 'ۢ Biggie's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Biggie from euthanasia. 'ۢ Please email [email protected] for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line.
